Create Greater Than
Create Greater Than is a culture initiative at Leo Burnett rooted in citizenship and empathy.
The CGT team hosts agency events and creates content that enlightens employees on the intricacies of societal issues (especially in the DEI space) so that we can stay in touch with our consumers and ensure our work is aligned with the progress being made across the country.

Pride Month
We concentrated one of our Pride Month posts around LGBTQIA+ flags, and the different gender identities and sexualities they represent across the spectrum.
Juneteenth
Our Juneteenth post shared background on the historic day and encouraged allies to look up local community service events, be intentional about learning Black stories and donate to organizations fighting for racial justice.
Suicide Awareness Week
We closed out Suicide Awareness Week in September by highlighting the suicide rate of migrants detained by ICE, which drastically increased in 2020.
Hispanic Heritage Month
For Hispanic Heritage Month, we discussed blanket labels and their shortfalls when it comes to understanding consumers within Hispanic and Latino communities.
Election 2020
The U.S. doesn't hang its hat on simplicity when it comes to elections, and this year was no exception— if anything it was more complicated than ever before, with a pandemic, a raging president and contradictory information all over.

So after attending an informative session on all-things-voting with the head of Illinois' ACLU, and came up with our "WTF: What're The Facts" segments that were shared out on Instagram. We sought to cover every area we could with the hope of providing both accurate info and peace of mind for our coworkers, and anyone else who needed it.
